DOOM & BOOM IN HOLLYWOOD
Over a decade after the demise of LA's largest and longest under 21 goth industrial party, Perversion at the Ruby, dark alternative culture returned to the corner of Hollywood and La Brea. DJs NOIZITH (formerly known as Pyrce) and JPEG host Doom and Boom at Beetle House.
This unique space is a "year-round celebration of Halloween with an artistic and thematic atmosphere inspired by horror culture, magic and the artistic, literary and cinematic works of Tim Burton, Alfred Hitchcock, Bram Stoker, Washington Irving, Edgar Allen Poe, and many many more."

Doom and Boom is weekly, no cover, currently on Thursdays, and advertised as a "modern goth club". They declare it as a community for "the broken hearted, mistreated, overlooked, under loved, underpaid, and doomed". This statement is confirmed by their loyal attendees and testimonials from veteran dark scene supporters.
